Handles and fittings are not protected against rust!?
I installed it last year because the handles on my previous device (same model) were rusty and frozen. I fixed a leak in my garden last week and when I went to turn off the water I was surprised to see that in less than a year these handles and nuts had already started to rust! The valve body is brass and ok, no problem, but unfortunately the manufacturer decided to save 5 cents and not use stainless steel handles/fittings. I went to the hardware store and bought some stainless steel nuts, hopefully this will extend the life of this unit a bit.
