I got this laptop case because the MacBook Pro 15" is a beautiful piece of hardware and getting it scratched up in my bag was NOT an option.Granted, this case probably won't protect your device from a fall but rather it minimizes corner dents, scratches on the surface, and accidental slamming onto a table surface.My only complain is that with the case on, the edges can rub up against your arms when typing.

That and it's NOT 100% covering all sides, so it'll be good to take it off on occasion to clean it up with potentially trapped dust or lint.I recommend getting this OR a laptop sleeve if you carry your MacBook Pro 15" around a lot in a bag. It's a good value, affordable, and looks pretty good (but again, the hardware design itself is the best presentation ;)
