Good filter, not very suitable (E39)
As already mentioned, this product is no longer available with a black plastic frame. This change should be mentioned in the product description. These filters do not fit perfectly on my 2003 530isedan. They're a little too big, which means the sides bunch up, so as one gentleman here said, "there are small areas on the side where the filter is bypassed." This worries me because I've always been a Was a fan of Mann filters and used them on my Volvo and VW vehicles. Disappointed by a brand for the first time.
