Review on 🐠 Efficient Macro Aqua M-50 Mini Hang-on External Protein Skimmer for 60 Gallon Tanks by Kayla Gonzalez

For under $60 I didn't know what to expect. For my nano reef aquarium I previously tried the Fluval PS2 Mini which turned out to be junk. I needed some HOB for my lag free reef cymbals with a small footprint but this really worked. I tried Macro Aqua M-50 and it exceeded my expectations. It is very easy to set up, does not rush at the water level and starts skimming immediately. Now I have two of these, one for 13.5 gallons and the other for 37 gallons and they both work fine. I noticed greater water clarity and a reduction in phosphate and nitrate. The drip tray needs to be emptied about once a week and is always full of dark lean matter that I don't need in my tank. Personally I haven't had any breaks in time that some other skimmers require, these skimmers are basically plug and play. I highly recommend this skimmer if you need something for an aquarium up to 50 gallons. It works as a hob right on the tank or in the sump. And for under $60, you can't go wrong. In addition, the instructions are simple, very little assembly is required, and the construction is solid and sturdy.
