The coasters are a little smaller than I thought they would be, but they fit any standard cup we put on them, not the soup (get it). They are not very thick but have good strength. The condensate that accumulates on it disappears on its own over time, but is not absorbed immediately (not a problem for me). They look very cute and have a rustic feel to them. The biggest bonus I was happy with was that the stand holder has handles on the bottom (see second picture) to keep the holder in place when trying to insert or remove it. Recommend to anyone looking!
