This dress is amazing! The fabric is super soft and thick enough that you'll feel cozy but not hot. It's also very forgiving of a tummy you don't want others to see. The pockets are fantastic! They are real pockets you can actually carry your phone and other items in, and they run vertically so they help give the dress shape without being bulky.The crew neck is ok, it wouldn't ideally be my first choice for a neckline, but the raglan sleeve softens the look and minimizes the shoulders, creating a more feminine line. The sleeves are a touch longer than a cap sleeve, and the diagonal cut keeps them from adding weight to that area as well. The sweatshirt hem creates a nice finish and adds definition to the shape, but it does not curve in creating a "bubbled" look.The back cut out is high enough that there is no way it is going to show the band of your bra. If, however, you have a cute racerback bra or tank you want to wear with this, you'll be able to add a nice pop of whimsy to the rear view.This is a great dress and clearly some thought went in to making this a great shape for basically any woman. I am 5'7, 150 lbs, 34 DDD, with a straight shape. I typically wear a ladies dress size 10/12 and this medium fits me perfectly, in the same skimming fashion that the model is shown wearing. It does not make me look like an apple or a linebacker - a common problem I have with some loose fitting casual styles. I want this dress in every color and some patterns would be awesome as well! Also a scoopneck option would be amazing as well!
