Xfinity notified me that my previous modem wasn't fast enough to support the internet speeds I'm currently paying for, so it's time to upgrade. I was surprised to find out how much these modems cost, which unfortunately is the case with anything that has voice services built in so you can use Xfinity. doing a job on their side to keep the phone line running (for some reason I have these problems every time). I've only had it a few weeks so can't comment on long-term performance, but it's improved my internet speeds significantly, and now I'm getting the full 200Mbps I pay Xfinity for (it actually peaks at around 240 Mbit / s, but it is not important).
