Currently I cannot close my right eye fully, this patch helps to keep it closed at night (with some gauze) as there is room under the patch for eye movement, both open and closed. This means it can be worn comfortably during waking hours for added protection or sensitivity to light, you will only be at a disadvantage with depth perception. The material is very soft and again I can't say enough. COZY. The strap is big enough for my very average head and has a strong Velcro closure on the back. If you NEED an eye patch, we promise you've got it.
