This is by far the best Nintendo Switch cartridge case I have ever bought. As soon as I took it out of the box, the quality of the case can be felt immediately. High quality plastic that feels strong and has weight. The clasp that "locks" the case has a nice audible click and you know for sure the case is closed properly. There is a blue rubber pad between the two sides which I believe is meant to make the case "waterproof". I'm certainly not going to test that statement, and I didn't "evaluate" that statement; However, it's safe to assume that if a rain shower hits a properly closed case out of nowhere, or a drink is splashed on the case when it's properly closed, I wouldn't have much concern that my games inside would be damaged in any way . Now dropping it in a toilet or pool can also have positive results simply because of the design of the case and how its seals can protect your games. I would never want to jeopardize my games for something that will probably never happen to me, so I can only give my opinion. Inside the case is a very nice dense rubber plastic? It's hard to describe, it's not a soft foam that cracks over time, nor is it a rough surface that scratches cartridges, it just feels like a quality place to store your physical collection. There are 16 slots that each cartridge fits into. Big! There are nail cutouts on each side of each slot so you can store your games either on the top left of the label or on the top right. I will say that it takes a tiny bit of your fingernail to remove the cards and I recommend removing them from the top of the label, not the bottom where the pins are. The case is strong and my games didn't budge, so I'm confident they won't fall out unless I uninstall them properly. There is also a slot for a micro SD card under each game. I didn't test this because I don't have any free cards and my Switch card is very capacious so I don't need the 'extra' space. I can say that the SD card slots look perfectly proportioned and I assume they will fit both Micro SD cards and Switch cards. However, micro SD cards are so small that you will definitely need a fingernail or a small toothpick etc. to fit in and a tiny nail cut out to remove them. For those wondering, you can also insert a game card and a micro SD card into each slot at the same time to fit 16 games and 16 separate micro SD cards at once. worked well, i don't travel much due to health issues but sometimes i have to stay in the hospital late so i wanted a portable storage option for my growing collection. This fully meets my needs. Note: I am a 100% legitimate buyer just satisfied with the quality of this product and my review is just my personal opinion of the product paid for with my own money.
