Review on Farberware Stainless Steel FCP240 Percolator: Efficient Brewing for 2-4 Cups by Lindsey Wright

We bought it for my eighty year old mother-in-law. It didn't work right away so we contacted Farberware and they sent a new unit. I checked it before filing it with the MIL and the 3-pin connector doesn't fit the base of the device. Male and female side molding is not compatible. The plug housing on the coffee maker itself has two molded guides, but the cable itself wasn't made with cutouts to accommodate two. I contacted them again and they wanted to send me another cable but I told them I was done and sent a refund. My wife and I had all three sizes, all worked well. Now that Farberwar is making them outside of the US, their quality has dropped drastically. The person I spoke to on the phone was very nice and didn't give me any problems with the refund. At least it worked, but now we're going to look for another coffee machine for the mother-in-law.
