This table scraper and chopper is really well made and heavy. I like the measuring tools engraved on one side of the blade, very useful. One thing I want to warn you about is that this item is quite heavy and if you accidentally drop it or lose your grip it can easily become a deadly weapon. I wouldn't recommend it and if you allow children to use this tool then at least you can keep an eye on your child as well as you can when they use sharp knives. The blade should be marked USE WITH CAUTION. I like the tool, but like I said, I use it judiciously.
