Although they look nice, the first impression is okay. I'll update this review when I have some time to travel to see how they hold up. You'll be mounted on a two-stroke motorized beach cruiser, so it's a lot more demanding than a regular pedal-only bike. Pros: - Nice view - Tons of adjustments - Inexpensive for 2x mirrors. Cons: - The stem bolt is too short to mount as shown in the photo and the nut is too thick. Only 2 (!) threads actually thread onto the screw when installed as shown in the pictures. I can promise they won't last long if set like this. Instead I thread them into a screw mount ABOVE the bracket to use as a set screw and use Loctite in the threads. Tighten the nut to the top of the threads, allow 1mm for adjustment, screw onto the bracket, then tighten the nut onto the bracket. One review includes photos of this attachment method, although they don't say if they use threadlock (which I highly recommend, you'll see why). As an advantage, this method allows more freedom to adjust the vertical tilt of the arm since the diamond shape is not flat in relation to the base. The handlebar mount looks very thin and small. Being thin, it's likely to pivot a lot on the handlebars as there isn't much surface contact. Because they're small, a standard handlebar doesn't have many bolts going through the other side, which makes me question the fit. There's a lot of Loctite here too as I'm worried about them pulling back. Ideally I would use longer screws. On handlebars with a wider tube they won't work at all without using longer bolts - poorly sized threads - looks like they were machined to the high tolerances typical of Chinese products. That means when you screw the stem into the bracket with no screw, just a thread into the thread, you can shake it back and forth and feel the gap between the threads of the bracket and the threads of the stem bolt. Loctite is needed to keep it from vibrating and I see that ball head screws also loosen over time causing the mirrors to wobble when adjusting so loctite them too (notice a trend here?). Notes: A lot of the bad reviews are from people complaining about the rear view. While I agree that some curvature would be nice, it's important to note that these are SIDE MIRROR. Like a motorcycle, there is no rear-view mirror because you need the mirror directly in front of you and above your head, just like on a car. I have a 1970's ZX14R, ZX6 and KZ650 and have used many different bike mirrors and regardless of curvature or style you will never see directly behind you on a bike. Conclusion: Chinese parts like this need Loctite. Everywhere, everywhere, everywhere. BLUE if you want it to be detachable or adjustable in the future (I used blue on the handlebar clamp and two ball head bolts), RED if you want the mount to be permanent (I used red on the stem bolt as I don't have it don't do it doesn't matter if the lever and bracket come off in one piece).
