These mirrors are well designed and built. Unfortunately, as others have pointed out, there is a problem: the ball joint stem lock nut is too thick and the threads are too short to use. Believe me I even tried grinding some material but to no avail. Luckily the hole in the handlebar mount is threaded so all you have to do is attach the ball mount as others have described, ditch the oversized nut and, if you need a lock nut, get a super thin one. suitable (this should also be threaded). I bought these for my new e-bike that I'm going to use for a 30 mile round trip with some dangerous stretches of road. I was wary of these as they seemed too good to be true for the price. Do not worry. You are so good. Very clear presentation. The attachment method is durable. How REALLY solid. Which is good as part of the road is quite bumpy. I like these but the attachment system needs a bit of an overhaul. I have a mountain bike with a Wake Mountain Bike 720mm handlebar https://www.amazon.com/Wake-Aluminium-Mountain-Handlebar-Bicycle/dp/B07G8Y9VLN (good handlebar btw). The mirrors fit on the thin part of the handlebars, but the screws are a bit short, too short if the outer shaft had a larger diameter. I first tried putting them on the handles next to the outside of my lock, it worked BUT all I could see in the mirror was my hand.

I am a racing cyclist. This mirror attaches to my aero bars at the end closest to my knee, with the mirror next to the dropout (so it extends past my legs). I admit this is an odd position. It certainly won't mount to anything else on the bike as everything else is too wide and the mounting bracket offers little to no flex. The mounting bracket and other hardware are solid and easily adjustable, and the glass is clear and flat (so no distortion). However, the mirror itself vibrates excessively.

I bought these mirrors despite some negative reviews I read in other reviews. The #1 complaint I read was that the threads weren't long enough for the nut. I overcame this fairly easily by tightly screwing the mirror onto the round knob and using the mirror itself to push the male screw more tightly into the female mount. Although they look nice, the first impression is okay. I'll update this review when I have some time to travel to see how they hold up.
