NOT MATTER. YOU GET WHAT YOU PAY FOR.

It was Wal-Mart's Black Friday sale where they sold out pretty quickly. I took one a few days ago and plugged it in at home. Pros: The picture is fantastic. I had a Sony upconverter that worked great, but nothing beats Blu-ray. The sound is crisp and clear. You can also access the menu while watching a movie and turn certain special features on or off. Bad: It does not connect to the Internet. (You can update the firmware by burning a CD from the manufacturer's website and loading it into the BD player). It's BD 1.1 compatible, which means you can do picture-in-picture on some movies, but there aren't any dedicated online features, which is fine with me. I'm the type that just wants to see a movie. I didn't care if the director was eating a bagel while filming that scene or if he was talking to someone while watching the film. Ugly: loading time. There really is no difference between putting a regular DVD in my DVD player and putting it in this BD player. All in all, if you're looking for a no-frills BD player and just for watching Blu-ray movies, this is a great buy.
