It's much better to let the nylon bolts break than the bracket

Serves its purpose. I use them on my electroplated dirt bike. Very often I fall and tear off a plate. Much better if the nylon bolts break than the bracket! It's also nice to have a pack of 50 instead of paying almost the same for just 4.
