They are smaller than I thought but the walls are high so they should hold enough food. They also seem very strong. used twice and they last a lot! You are strong too. I made 5 pounds of mashed potatoes today. With all the ingredients, butter, milk and a piece of cream cheese. A total of about 6 pounds came out. This little dish had it all. Hopefully this gives you an idea of its capacity. It was still tight. I will order these pans again. . These pans are the best I've used so far. I order more because of their durability, price and because they hold a lot of food! I am changing my original 4 star rating to 5!
