First off, this is a review of the Fotasy 35mm F1.6 lens for the MFT. Most of the reviews here seem to be for a different lens on this list. I bought this lens to use with the Yi M1 camera, a cheap lens for a cheap camera. I'm new to photography so wasn't sure what to expect. This lens is good for close-up photography such as portraits. Regardless of the setting, it doesn't focus on the whole thing in the distance, making landscapes and the like impossible. This is a fully manual lens, so it's fun to play around with the camera settings to figure out what ISO, shutter speed, etc. to use to get a good picture. I ended up using the camera in shutter priority mode and setting a slow or fast shutter speed depending on the aperture of the lens. Affordable and I didn't know what to expect. Please note this is not a native MFT lens. This is a C-mount lens that comes with an adapter for Micro Four Thirds.
