DMC has an excellent reputation for quality yarn and I was excited to try Petra. However, this was a disappointment; Aunt Lydia's much cheaper fabric slides much better on the needle and is much less prone to separating layers. However, I gave it 3 stars for the average rating because it has a lot more colors available than Aunt Lydia's, so I would still buy it again. But if you want white or another base color, which is available in both brands, save your money.
