I was looking for a power bus/surge protector before adding a UPS to my rack. I've noticed that a lot of the most popular/best selling shelves have 6 exits in the front and 6 in the back and so on - I didn't realize that. Going to the CyberPowers website and poking around a bit, I found this line compared to the more well known ones. Looking at the comparison it seemed straightforward, covering more joules overall, more NEMA connectors in the back, two extra ones in the front just in case, and actual surge suppression (if you wanted more in the back on the other line you could choose 20 amps or loss of overvoltage suppression). It seemed to fit the bill more than anything else. Received it in great packaging, I had to attach the wire rod by hand which I found a bit odd, but everything snapped together pretty easily. Everything connected and working great. Twelve sockets in the back and two in the front. It also easily connects to a 19" wide rack. There was also the option to add a little more depth to the rack if desired, which seem to be some configuration options that I don't particularly need.
