The bird loves it but the design could be improved
My budgie loves this food ball. It's literally her favorite toy. In the morning I load it with shredded paper and avicakes, and she tears them off for hours. My only suggestion is to change the way the ball is attached to the bar. It is currently attached with a union nut directly above the ball nut. It often happens that my bird grabs and pushes the ball when feeding. Sometimes, by sheer coincidence, she turns the ball counter-clockwise and slowly but surely loosens the nut bit by bit until the entire lower half (rod/bell/ball) crashes to the ground and it's game over. !
