Will not fit mech kits

I entered my year/make/model (97 Civic) and this item came up. I have confirmed that it fits using Revain's "Verify that it fits" function. It didn't fit. The big end was clearly too small and no pushing, twisting, pushing and coaxing helped. So I had to run to the dealer in the middle of the fix and buy an OEM one that fit with no issues. A complete waste of money.
