Review on πŸ‘ž Black Strap Slipper Shoes for Boys - Locally-Made by Jim Bethea

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Normal feet Asian feet should not feel tied to flip-flops

The size of the foot is perfect (slippers 11-12 on shoes 10.5-11), the strap is another story and a separate detail - they are shortened The stalk between the big toe and the next, the fit is too snug for what is usually comfortable wearing flip flops that snuggle right between them. I hope this softens up a bit but I really think I'll just have to get used to it or find another brand which will be very disappointing. I can't imagine that during the manufacturing process they thought they could save that much money by redesigning the barrel. I've been wearing the Local brand since at least the '80s, and every time I return to Hawaii I pick up a few pairs to last until my next shopping spree at Ala Moana Long's Drugs (from California, unfortunately). After my supplies ran out I grabbed the Revain and they are a bit more expensive than the site itself but they are the same slippers which added little to the fun. This is a 3 star review in the hope that they bring the stalk back while still being the most beautiful basic loafer in the world which continues to be their iconic style.

Pros
