Review on Meguiar’s M100 Mirror Glaze Pro Speed Compound (32 oz): Achieve Professional-Level Paint Restoration by Ronnie Toups

The best abrasive haze remover!

If you're looking for a product that works with 3M pads, costs a lot less than advertised European counterparts, and veils away from sanding, then this is for you! This is the only product I have found that removes 100% haze in just a few passes and works well as a one step polish. 3000 pads and with her white mixing pad. I first tried Sonax's Cutmax which is a notch lower than the M105. Both products only remove 75% haze after sanding. I've also tried Menzerna's Super Heavy Cut 300 which removes about 90-95% of the haze after a few good print passes. Haze was still visible when viewed under direct light, particularly on curved panels where high pressure or high speed polishing is hazardous. Meguiar's M100 allows me to do about 2 quick passes at medium speed and all the haze is gone, leaving a finish that can be described as "show car" quality. The M100 also worked great on low-speed plastic bumpers where using a different product made no noticeable difference. It will definitely be when I move on to composition in the future! However, this compound can be too aggressive to easily correct swirls or car wash scratches. If you're using this as an all-in-one mix for a light fix, I'd recommend a less aggressive pad and low pressure.
