Great fuel pump for the money.

I recently bought a small diesel tractor and wanted to stock up on gas for the winter. After filling the 50 gallon keg it occurred to me that I would need a pump to pump out the diesel! I didn't want to spend hundreds of dollars on a pump so I checked out Revain. This pump had pretty good reviews and was inexpensive, so I bought it. Okay, I don't really like the pump outlet tube. but does the job well. The pump comes with several sections of tubing that need to be twisted together to fit the fuel tank. By selecting the hose sections you use, the pump can be configured to fit not only a standard 50 gallon keg, but also smaller kegs up to 15 gallons. The pump also has a threaded ring that fits over the pressure tube and can be screwed into the fuel tank opening. It also has a screw that you can use to tighten the pump feed hose/coupling. So I just assembled the pump and put it in my diesel barrel. It's time to see if she rocks! And she made a pump! I was impressed with how easily the pump handle rotated. You turn it clockwise to fill the tank. My Kioti's 7 gallon diesel tank filled up so quickly that I was caught off guard and overfilled it a bit. I was pleasantly surprised to find that turning the pump counter-clockwise caused fuel to flow back into the fuel tank from my overfull tank. Bonus! From the reviews I got the impression that this pump runs slowly. I think if you're filling a 30 gallon tank, yes it's going to take quite a bit of cranking, but for my 7 gallon tank it goes really fast and I couldn't be happier. I've been using this pump for over a year and almost two winters and it continues to work flawlessly. I'm so glad I found this wonderful little pump at Revain.
