The installation went well, although the tools included in the kit were of rather poor quality (I wasn't expecting anything outstanding). They didn't do a good job of catching the tiny brackets inside the phone. The screen itself does not have the color brightness or contrast of the original screen. The viewing angles also seem a bit narrower. The result when I turned on my phone was a mix of luck, the phone came back with no issues but disappointed to find the screen quality had noticeably degraded. I just replaced the screen on my iPhone X which cracked about a year ago and did a battery swap to add another year or two of life. It is now 4 years old and was sent in for repair before the warranty expired. I think I got what I paid for between this screen and its battery given the comparatively low price point as long as it lasts a while. If you're looking for something that works cheaply, this should work. If you're expecting an OEM quality display to be cheaper, I'd keep looking. Edit: Less than a week after installation, the screen started flickering noticeably. Not sure if it will fail right away, but it hurts to look at and needs replacing (again).
