Do not buy this screen. It's terrible. Color off, touch sensitivity is terrible. This screen shorted out my point sensor and destroyed my Face ID. I would not recommend this screen to anyone. what a waste. so crazy! Raven help!

As this is not an OEM replacement the screen is not flush mount and sits slightly higher which is typical of aftermarket screens. The colors on this display are terrible and many things, particularly the white parts of the screen, have a noticeable yellow cast, even compared to another iPhone without True Tone. The screen also drains the battery a lot more than it should. Looking at the battery usage, it drains 5% overnight without doing anything.

Update: There were problems with the screen but the support was excellent and quickly provided a satisfactory solution to the entire problem. Much better service and communication than many others I have tried to deal with. Worked fine for almost 3 weeks, then it started glitching and sometimes the screen would turn off while I was using the phone. The screen was also very touch sensitive, which really annoyed me. Screen completely blacked out after 3 months - right after the return window. The phone was on the table and not being used. Tried hard reset, DFU reset, hard reset and reinstalling the display cables. The display turned on and went black again after a reboot. Waste of hours, time and money. Also, waste protective film. It was a bit intimidating but I watched the video online and made it as a project with my daughter (her phone). The instructional video is 12 minutes long. It took us just over an hour to move slowly and carefully. I wear trifocals and it's very hard for me to see details/screws etc so I'd recommend a magnifying glass if you're in that camp. After I installed the screen, I noticed that my brightness wasn't automatically adjusted and I noticed that scrolling with pressure didn't work (press down and the cursor finger move). The installation went well, although the tools included in the kit were of rather poor quality (I wasn't expecting anything outstanding). They didn't do a good job of catching the tiny brackets inside the phone. The screen itself does not have the color brightness or contrast of the original screen. Very easy to install. General instructions: 1. Remove the back panel2. Remove the battery, memory card3. Remove (4) larger screws and (2) smaller screws - DO NOT LOSE! This is a fantastic LCD and touch screen repair kit. The quality is excellent for an LCD and the price was very reasonable. The colors and clarity are 95% better than the OEM OLED screen, I can hardly tell them apart (see screenshot).
