When I bought this I needed an Atmega microprocessor for a class project. I looked at real Arduinos and half the posts complained about "fake", "cloned", or "Chinese" fake Arduinos. While I have no problem supporting an open source program by buying the original at a higher price, I have a serious problem paying that price for a product not made by them. I would rather buy a copy from a reputable company who will sell it as a copy for the price of the copy and then donate the difference to Arduino than buy a copy for the original price, and none of this will help improve the Arduino project. .However, when I saw that Sunfounder has a Mega 2560 version, I decided to buy it instead and risk it with the "original". I have bought from Sunfounder in the past and their products have always been top notch. This card continued that model. All solder joints are clean and professional. The board is easy to read and most importantly it works like the original. Additionally, it comes with an Ethernet shield, a nice little bonus. I had no problems with the board and actually ran a few programs from the board with no problems (we use Atmel Studio 7.0 to program it instead of the Arduino IDE), it works just like the original.
