Works right out of the box

I didn't have much time with it but I was able to connect it to my OSEPP Uno R3 plus with no problem. I uploaded some quick sketches and was able to access them through a separate web browser. Physical and network connections work as expected. Light!

Great little standard ethernet board, very easy to use and set up.

A very good price for an industry standard W5100 based Ethernet board. It started with the standard libraries on the first try. Within minutes I had an Arduino web server up and running temperature and humidity statistics on the internet. Don't use the big little board.

Wrong case, no documents

Obvious SunFounder error - NULL documentation. Do you think they even put the circuit on their website? No, they rather advertise their IoT cloud. And I bought two of these at once and a few months later another Mega 2560 from another source. In all devices, the 5.0V register was filled with a 3.3V chip! Luckily, Revain refunded my money with no fuss. For another dollar you can get an Elegoo device with proper paperwork, pins marked on the straps! etc. By the way, contacting the supplier and…

Finally I could work with him.

I had this piece of rock because I couldn't get it to work properly. No connection to Arduino. The pins were too long to fit, the solder under the board touched the USB connector on the Arduino board. Until I've bought some Arduino connectors to form the second layer, I manage to work through the example sketches one at a time and repeat the tests. Before this HACK board, it wasn't very reliable. I'm still testing reliability as sometimes the board worked, sometimes not. Today is the first day…

A clone is only a problem if you let it.

When I bought this I needed an Atmega microprocessor for a class project. I looked at real Arduinos and half the posts complained about "fake", "cloned", or "Chinese" fake Arduinos. While I have no problem supporting an open source program by buying the original at a higher price, I have a serious problem paying that price for a product not made by them. I would rather buy a copy from a reputable company who will sell it as a copy for the price of the copy and then donate the difference to…
