I've done 4 bathroom renovations (one still to do) and I will never go back to old fashioned toilet roll holders that have a spring in the housing. At 64 I chased that feather around the back of the toilet as it jumped out of the barrel. These rotating paper holders are a real blessing. Unfortunately, I only discovered them after I had renovated the first two bathrooms in the country house. Now when I buy bathroom towel rails and such, the first constraint I apply is to make sure the style has a "pivoting" toilet paper holder in the style line. As for sharon333's complaints, I can only assume that she didn't use a template to help you set the correct spacing between two stationary arms. Just take your time, follow the instructions and you will be very happy with the result too.
