Just received it and it meets my expectations. Nothing fancy. Lots of plastic except cables. Good for the price. All the cable itself is 1/2". However, the metal braided cable, which is the most important part and most difficult to break through, is about 1/4" thick. The other 1/4" is the plastic/rubber sleeve/jacket around the metal cable. It is easy to cut through. But for the price of $15, you'll get your money's worth because it's good value.
