At only a few inches of space this item fits and works perfectly for a small linen closet in my RV and would also fit in a small apartment or just about anywhere with limited back space. . Without this, a 4 inch vent hose would be squeezed between the machine and the wall. Very easy to install, all necessary parts are included. for missing items or attach transport locks if you move (e.g. mobile home). Airflow in small tumble dryers or washer-dryers is low enough when rotating the laundry item 90 degrees does not obstruct the airflow enough to cause even the slightest problem.
