When the air intake arrived, several pieces of mounting hardware were initially missing. This left me with about half of the air intake mounts. The second thing I noticed is that the heat shield box seems generic rather than tailored to the truck, which doesn't allow for optimal performance. Hot air can easily enter from the top and through the opening where the intake pipe goes through the box. The filter, inlet pipe and clamps are all of good quality and work very well. Acceleration has increased and now I can actually hear the turbo. Not enough miles have been driven to determine the best fuel economy, although the truck's current economy suggests it is better. Overall, this is a decent intake system, but it should cost $100-$150 less in my opinion.
