Installed on Evo X

I would give this 1 star but it looks like the switch is where I originally installed it. Attaching to the dash was a hassle because I had to remove so much to get to the attachment point next to the traction/stability control system. I installed this switch on my Evo to control some extra lights. Couldn't get the switch to work properly so I contacted support. They instructed me to install a relay because it can't handle much current (1 amp max). After I installed the relay, the switch still didn't work. I started checking the connections on the switch's pigtail and found that the ground and positive batteries were working and let the switch pretend it was working. The output on the switch didn't work, and neither did the blue wire to turn on the light on the switch. The demo video shows the switch illuminating when the blue wire has power, but only part of the fog light icon. My blue wire causes the bottom ribbon shaped light to turn on when powered. I never managed to get the fog light icon to light up. If you press the switch with the blue wire not connected to anything, it will light up in a stripe pattern. Pressing it again turns it off. When the blue wire is live, this bar-shaped LED is always on as long as the blue wire is live. I called support again and they insist I have a bad connection so I bought a multimeter to test them all. All my connections were made correctly and had continuity. Even by unplugging the green connector on the pigtail to connect the battery's positive to the accessory's positive, the headlights worked. The only non-working item I could revert to was the switch itself. Support always tells me the switch isn't the problem. The switch was removed and thrown aside. The pigtail and wires were used on another switch I bought so it worked great except it couldn't fit in the open hole I have now (until I reinstalled the OEM plug). The new switch is now only hanging under the fuse box. It still baffles me how they repeatedly told me their switch wasn't the problem (but that other switch works fine).
