I'm a little camera geek. I have purchased and set up complex networks for two of my properties and for friends and family. When I first saw the claim that the camera could have a 6-month battery life, I was skeptical. Either not, or the picture quality is very poor. After extensive testing, I have found that this is not the case at all. Not only is it really easy to set up - I was up and running in 5 minutes with the phone app and Q-Code - it also captures crystal clear video in both bright and low light. My battery tests show it using less than 3% of the charge per week, which means it's likely to last longer than the 6 months it's promised (check back later for updates). The best part about all of this is that you can really put it anywhere without a charging cable. Mine is in the attic, where I don't have electricity, facing the driveway. I have never been able to achieve such a wide viewing angle in my house. All in all, this is a great little camera at an amazing price.
