Tried first on scrap pieces of wood will not hold too big!

I bought a new boat, the rails are not wide enough for the base of the rod holders. I drilled a countersunk hole and pressed them flush from the top. Perfect!

Pros

Rivet Nuts can be installed in a variety of materials including steel, plastic and fiberglass.

Cons

Not as thick as other picks.
