Exceeded my expectations. I wasn't expecting too much from this product given its shallow depth, but it works surprisingly well. It will never compete with a dual system, nor is it intended to. So don't buy it if you're looking for the kind of bass that will make your rearview mirrors shake. But it shakes my mirrors, which I didn't expect. If you take the time to set up your system properly, it will fill the empty bottom area in your car's sound system and then some. I spent some time adjusting the gain on the unit and then messing around with the crossover settings on my receiver. By stripping my door speakers of low-end functions, I seemed to free them up for mid-bass processing. This makes the sound in my car much cleaner. I recommend the 10" version and 4 gauge wiring harness. 4, 6X8 Pioneer door speakers.
