Description of Sound Storm Laboratories LOPRO10 Amplified Car Subwoofer - Boost Your Bass on Limited Space

Built-in amplifier: with a MOSFET power supply you get improved switching speeds, better performance with less power from the driver, lower gate-to-drain feedback capacitance, lower thermal impedance for higher switching frequencies. Variable Low-Pass Filter - A low-pass filter is an electronic circuit that removes all the notes above the filter's frequency setting. Low-Level Inputs - Line level inputs (RCA inputs / low-level inputs) use RCA interconnect cables to link the LOPRO10 with the source unit. Most aftermarket radios have multiple pairs of RCA outputs that can connect to multiple amplifiers. Variable bass boost: variable bass boost allows you to adjust the low bass within the boost Range to just the way you like it. Dimensions: 15” x 9. 75” x 3”. I wouldn't waste time reviewing this product if I was thinking about it.

I wouldn't waste time reviewing this product if I thought it was crap. Installed in less than an hour, fits perfectly under the seat of my 99 Tacoma. Adds the perfect amount of bass, just enough to really make the truck shake but not too much to drown out the vocals. I bought the 10" and was very pleased after using this thing for a week. I will update my review if necessary. If in doubt about purchasing this do not hesitate, great product at a reasonable price.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • No performance

Don't go the cheap route!

Most people looking at this product think that 1200W is a lot and it is. But don't let that number fool you. The actual wattage to look out for is RMS watts. This is usually about half the peak power. In this case, I would say that the RMS power output of this subwoofer is 50-100W RMS, which is quite weak to be honest. I've had this subwoofer for about 5 months now and it's not great. The sound is decent at low volume (when it is), but once you turn up the volume the extra volume doesn't…

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Almost OK

The sound quality of this subwoofer is very poor, once you turn the volume up above 25% it just vibrates. After 11 months of use it has already let me down! Unfortunately I live in Australia so the guarantee is impractical when I have to pay shipping both ways. I had it checked by a mechanic here in Australia and he said it was very cheap and not worth repairing (faulty motherboard). even selling me one so this item is now useless. Not a good experience, I won't buy anything from Sound Storm…

Seven months after my death, they sent me a replacement!

Sounded good for the price. It met my expectations. But now, 2 years later, it doesn't work anymore. I contacted the manufacturer and followed all the troubleshooting steps they instructed me to do. The final option is to have it repaired or replaced under warranty as we bought it from Revain we supposedly have a 3 year warranty. However, I sent them two copies of the receipts and several emails saying I wanted a warranty repair. I haven't received an answer yet. You just ignore me. Revain…

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • A few negatives

Exceeded my expectations. I wasn't expecting too much from this product given its shallow depth, but it works surprisingly well. It will never compete with a dual system, nor is it intended to. So don't buy it if you're looking for the kind of bass that will make your rearview mirrors shake. But it shakes my mirrors, which I didn't expect. If you take the time to set up your system properly, it will fill the empty bottom area in your car's sound system and then some. I spent some time adjusting

Pros
  • . Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • unreliable

Excellent price. Good sound. Big size.

Installed by myself 8 months ago. I decided to wait to check until I figured it out. Since the sound rating is subjective, I had to play with the settings of this unit (as well as the main unit and the external amplifier) until I got exactly what I wanted. I paired it with the stock Entune Audio Plus box in my 2016 Camry XSE, a Clarion XC1410 mini amp and 6 Kicker speakers. The results were amazing! Good, clean sound, lots of pressure. I didn't want to smash windows or announce my…

A very versatile addition to any audio system

I've had this 10" flat mount subwoofer for a few days and feel I've had enough time to review it. I installed this under the passenger seat on my 2006 Tundra. Installation was very easy and the sub woofer sat straight flush with the back of the seat back. The fit and finish was much better than I expected; The matte black brushed metal around the case looks fantastic, the grille was solid and all the connections, ports and stitching are solid. Now for the part you've been waiting for: the…

Great sounding subwoofer for the money

*Edit* 10/28/15 - 16 months and still works great! I've been using it on my 96 4Runner for about 5 months now. Sounds good, a definite improvement. It really fills out the low frequencies and rounds out the sound. I didn't expect a powerful sound from it because of its size and price, but it does its job perfectly. I used to have an Infinity Basslink II in the trunk of my Mustang that sounded a little better, but this time I didn't want to lose ANY cargo space. The mirrors don't really shake on

Pros
  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Not the best
