Review on πŸ§€ Stainless Steel Hand Grater by Sabatier by Tammy Chavez

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Stable, sharp and appears to be solidly built. Although the grip is a bit slippery.

This is a review of the Sabatier Pom. I have several hand rubs, but this one is probably my favorite. The others I have are very narrow and long, making them difficult to use, especially when trying to peel a lemon or lime. It has a wide and rather long grid surface. What I really like about this hand grater is the triangular rubber element at the end. This allows the grater to be used securely on the counter without slipping. At the same time, it rotates so you can adjust the angle of the grater while using it. Stainless steel is easy to clean and I usually throw it in the dishwasher when I'm done using it. The plastic is harder, so it slips a bit in the hand. There is a thumb well to slip your finger in, but if the grip had a better grip I would have preferred that. Overall I'm happy with how it works. It's great for seasoning and I also use it for hard cheeses like Parmesan or Pecorino.

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Very expensive
