I love this grater! It is very hard. I love that it comes with a clasp on the lid. Great, because we have kids, and if they get their hands on a drawer, they don't cut themselves. It's big enough too. I've been using the same grater for 20 years and it's been good, but my complaints were minor. This one is perfect! The handle also feels very good. I don't feel my hand slipping off.

My hand grater dream came true. Anyway, we've been using this grater for a few weeks now and it does its job perfectly. I particularly like the domed surface of the grate as it doesn't tend to bend or warp like the flat graters I've had in the past. The handle feels comfortable in my hand. Overall this grater does a great job with all my little grating needs 5 stars.
