I bought this part for my Honda Valkyrie some time ago. I have multiple bikes so I split my ride between them. I finally got 4,000 miles on oil and replaced the factory spark plug with this one. To date I have not even opened the package. I took it apart before installing it and was happy to know that the hole that houses the magnet is sealed so you won't lose your oil even if the magnet comes loose. This magnet is POWERFUL. There is no doubt that it will collect all the magnetic particles in the oil. Before installing, I lubricated the threads of the VibraTight magnet as a little insurance. I have no doubt that in another 4,000 miles this magnet will be completely covered in metal and its design allows the magnet to be pulled out and release particles so you can clean the cork. Really very chic design.
