EASY INSTALLATION, REMOVAL, AND CLEANING – Mag Plugs make cleaning a quick and easy process. The magnet can be quickly and easily pulled out and put back in to allow particles to fall from plug to trash can. The red screw will need to be securely tightened down with a #2 Phillips screwdriver when reinstalling so it does not come out. 100% MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE – Get 100% of your money back if you are not completely satisfied. STRONG MAGNET! Fits spares

Excellent product. I replaced an old drain plug on my 2014 Ford Expedition with one of these. I wasn't interested in the flat aluminum washer that came with the kit, so I used some coated 3/4"/rubber washers instead. Installed. I'm picky about these things. It was a good choice!

Pros
  • Fits many
Cons
  • No machine

Aluminum bolt with steel cap on magnet:

Original review: It's larger than the OEM Jeep JK plug, so I can use a larger socket (not a round head like the OEM). It needed a little more torque than the meager 26 ft/lb the spec says (I had a slow drop off), but I pulled it a bit harder and it stopped. Based on the feedback I added a blue screw lock to the connector and it's still there. (200 miles). I'm sure I can remove it next time. 24 month update: Licks until you suck hard every time. Assume the oil pan threads are stronger than this…

Pros
  • Worthy execution
Cons
  • The list is long.

Okay, that's an oil drain plug and there are many arguments as to whether it makes a significant difference. For me personally it's easy. If the shard of iron is stuck on the end of the drain plug, don't have it floating around in the crankcase looking for something to mess with. The magnet is insanely strong and the screw-on cleaning cap indicates that someone has put some thought into this. I bought 2, one for my 2017 Accord and 2017 CR-V. The tabs on the oil pan plug are a bit deeper on…

Pros
  • Handsome
Cons
  • Long delivery time

When I got this in the mail I was thrilled. It's sturdy, has a strong magnet, and the idea of taking the magnet out is great. I bought it for my brand new 2018 Yamaha MT 07 to do my first oil change. I did a regular oil change and when it came time to put the oil plug in, I put that in and started tightening the oil plug with my torque wrench. When I tightened before it was near the torque spec, it loosened. I unscrewed the oil plug and found that its threads were so short that it only caught…

Does not meet OEM specs

Don't do it I bought this for my Honda Ridgeline this is my second car and I take good care of this truck which is only used on weekends. Come home to change car and drive 500 miles and I seeded the truck with dripping oil when I check the oil level the stick was dry I almost passed out (I change the oil myself to make sure that the good stuff gets into the engine without paying for good things at oil stations and getting shit it happens in PEOPLE'S NOSE 👃 every day) and the oil plug came…

  • I look forward to

Beautiful oil screw, but. *ATTENTION REQUIRED*

I bought this plug, received it in a few days and here is the offer. This oil plug is awesome, the workmanship is high quality, the magnet is strong, the idea is good that you can pull out the magnet and any trapped particles can just be thrown away, BUT. YOU have to be careful, as several other reviews mention, there isn't much threading, and while this is perfectly normal for most people, do yourself a favor and unplug your current plug, if it looks shorter don't Buy it! Also, I would NOT…

Cons
  • Long wait

A superbly designed product.

I bought this part for my Honda Valkyrie some time ago. I have multiple bikes so I split my ride between them. I finally got 4,000 miles on oil and replaced the factory spark plug with this one. To date I have not even opened the package. I took it apart before installing it and was happy to know that the hole that houses the magnet is sealed so you won't lose your oil even if the magnet comes loose. This magnet is POWERFUL. There is no doubt that it will collect all the magnetic particles in…

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Easily repairable

Excellent quality engines and engine parts

Several other people have reviewed this product and raved about its quality. I will too. It's pretty amazing. From the photos I wasn't sure if the connector itself was solid steel or some other material. Now I think it's aluminum. But I am not sure. I tried to upload a video, not sure if it will come out. But the video shows that you can remove the magnet from the bolt and insert the bolt and magnet into the drain plug recess. And the magnet works damn well. I did what others have suggested and

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
