Okay, that's an oil drain plug and there are many arguments as to whether it makes a significant difference. For me personally it's easy. If the shard of iron is stuck on the end of the drain plug, don't have it floating around in the crankcase looking for something to mess with. The magnet is insanely strong and the screw-on cleaning cap indicates that someone has put some thought into this. I bought 2, one for my 2017 Accord and 2017 CR-V. The tabs on the oil pan plug are a bit deeper on these cars so an extra plug length would have been nice. In general, I will recommend to friends and I am satisfied with the purchase.
