I chose this cable as an alternative to the significantly more expensive Oculus communications cable. I figured "any USB 3.x cable" would be similar to the one below as I've had a bit of trouble with cables and Revain before. It is clear that I have had an extraordinary experience. build quality. The cable itself is thick, stiff, and difficult to bend. Tension will occur at all connectors due to the considerable weight of the cable and the angles at which it enters. The plug connections themselves seem to work, but the bearing clearance is wrong. When used with Oculus, the side of the headset doesn't fit well, which makes me wonder if it connects well. The PC side was too tight and trying to force it into the connector could potentially damage my front I/O. -- Connectivity -- The connection was never fully established on my PC with my VR headset because the cable was not possible. Tests with other devices showed an uneven and intermittent connection, likely due to poor outlet quality. Conclusion. If you need an Oculus cable, get the recommended ones. Disagree.
