Love that I got two of these for the price I paid for just one Dupont! Works as well or better than Dupont (I was able to get 3 months of odor reduction with a Dupont activated carbon block). In addition, it has an additional filter fabric on the outside of the carbon block. I had previously installed a 5 micron filter so didn't need it, but it's still nice to have if you're trying to make an all-in-one. Helps reduce odors significantly as my water is rich in iron. I change both my pre-filter and this filter every two months, which works out to me about 8000 gallons because clay and silt will clog my first filter and I have no problem keeping it running for that time. I considered leaving it to see if it works every other filter change, but then it becomes difficult to keep track.
