Works fine, wrong MAC address

I'm using this WiFi adapter with an old Pi that doesn't have a built-in adapter. This adapter was immediately recognized by the latest version of Raspbian and it still works fine. However, when I scanned my network with the "Advanced IP Scanner" program, I noticed that the MAC address of this adapter looks like this: 00:0F:00:72:FE:84, that of the now defunct Legra Systems, Inc. While this MAC address mismatch does not cause problems for the ME, it could pose a problem in a larger organization.
