First of all, my wife hates me when I look at kitchen accessories on Amazon. She calls me the king of gadgets. I have to admit that some of them were complete failures while others turned out to be gems and this is one of them (a gem). When I make tuna I usually have to open 5-6 cans of sandwiches for me and my sons. It's a quick meal other than waiting for the jar to drain or standing over the sink and pressing the lid against the jar to squeeze the water out. Well, let me tell you no more. Remove the lid and slide it into the jar - done. Invert the jar to drain the water or oil while holding the strainer in the jar, then pour in the tuna. The whole pieces are the right size, the tuna stays in place, and the strainer is smooth and easy to clean. Easily saves me 5 minutes cooking tuna.
