Review on ๐Ÿ‘„ L-Lysine Powder: Promotes Collagen Synthesis, Amino Acid Supplement - NOW Supplements, 1-Pound by Joe Mendez

Revainrating 5 out of 5

There was no lysine.

That's a good stuff! I always have something at home. Saves me on doctor and vet bills if used at the right time and for the right purposes. Water soluble and fairly harmless, even if too much is ingested, the excess is excreted in the urine. It is an amino acid that occurs naturally in the body as opposed to an unnatural chemical made in the lab. I love that this is such a safe item for my pets! Sprinkle lightly on cat food or a bowl of water to help cats stay healthy when suffering from feline illnesses. Helps them recover from sneezing/runny nose/cold symptoms quicker and easier than without lysine. Strengthens the immune system. Also suitable for me when it starts to get bad and if someone has cold sores or cold sores on their face, that's necessary too. I use this when I've been around people who are coughing/sneezing/or obviously sick to prevent myself from getting sick. The vet prescribed it for my dog who had recurring autoimmune ear infections and has been on this daily pill for life with good results. Good for humans and their cats and dogs! But if using this on cats or dogs please find the correct mg doses and measure accordingly. It's easy to get it right; about 1/8-1/4 teaspoon for a cat, depending on the problem and severity; and small dogs. My dog was 90 pounds and was taking human doses of lysine. I like the tablets best for me and my large dog, but the powder form is the most convenient and easy to use for cats, kittens, small dogs and puppies. And the NOW brand is the only brand I use because I know that the NOW brand really does what it says on the tin! Check it out and you can see how different brands perform when tested on it. NOW you can trust the quality and ingredients.
