The timed coffee programming is actually the simplest I've seen on a coffee maker, although the written instructions seem a lot more complicated than they really are. I don't think the author of the manual learned English as a first language, and I don't think he (or she) ever used the machine. Overflow for a full 12 cups. This makes it difficult to prevent spillage when pouring from a pan. However, this design makes the entire machine more compact than many others.
