This kit fits me well - be sure to measure the door and back carefully and adjust the fitting accordingly. I used a drill with a fork and it was powerful enough - you just had to be patient and let the tool do its job. If you are drilling a larger hole, drill one side until the pilot drill goes through the door, then drill the other side. Note: you don't have to remove the jig to drill through the other side, but it's a strong hold on the clamp - I removed the hole saw from the drill bit, put the saw back in, then reattached it. Tip: To downgrade to a smaller hole saw, first remove the pilot bit from the mandrel by loosening the screw holding it in place. You can then insert a screwdriver into the slots on the hole saw and turn counter-clockwise while holding the mandrel. under some pressure. Finally, before installing the lock, be sure to mark the jamb with some sort of marker to insert into the bolt hole. This is not explicitly described in the instructions.
