It was relatively easy to install and I was able to connect to remote computers. However, out of the box it didn't achieve its goal for the following reasons: 1) It came with firmware 2.1.1184.1.0. Trying to update it to v3.0.5.583 just fails with an error. 2) It's either too slow or doesn't send keystrokes so you can catch the boot sequence on startup. It doesn't seem to have any effect. 3) Virtual Media on Connect is not recognized when connecting to a macOS session. 4) As you know, when changing the screen resolution in the operating system, a counter appears after the changes are applied. Tripp Lite Solutions Manager updates to the updated resolution so slowly that most of the time the operating system counter is reset and the screen resolution returns to the original one. I ended up having to disconnect the machines from KVM, connect them to a real keyboard, mouse and USB DVD drive to install and control the machines.
